Welcome to Favors Family Child Care

Let me introduce myself! My name is Nikki Favors. After giving birth to our second child, my husband (police officer) and I decided that I would stay at home to care for our children. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development focusing on child and adolescent development. I am working towards a Masters degree in Accounting. Raising children has been the most important yet challenging season of my life, yet the most rewarding time of my life.

We live in a quiet neighborhood. Many of our neighbors are retired. We have an outdoor deck/classroom, also used for outdoor play. We have a fenced in yard with a play set and lots of outdoor toys and riding equipment. We have three playful watch dogs for pets. They are German Shepherds and have had their rabies shots. While they are great dogs, we do keep them separated from the daycare children. Our dogs have NEVER come into contact with the daycare children in our care.

I know the feeling and concern of having to work outside the home and depend on someone else to care for your most treasured gift in life.
